At the beginning of every year, the People to People Program calls for proposals in the local Hebrew and Arabic newspapers.

The proposals package should include the following:
  1. Project Proposal
  2. Project Design Summery (PDS)
  3. Budget Summary Sheets

What Do We Fund?

Projects, which are proposed to the People to People Program, should:

  1. Be implemented jointly by Israeli and Palestinian organizations, and all activities should take place in the region,
  2. Aim at enhancing dialogue and relations between the Palestinians and the Israelis,
  3. Foster wider exposure of the two publics to the peace process through education and encourage public discussion and involvement in the peace process,
  4. Increase people to people exchange and have the potential to bridge between large audiences on both sides,
  5. Correspond to the structure in the Proposal Package Guidelines, and include detailed budgets and a description of the reporting mechanism, and
  6. Fall within the following project areas, that were defined by the Program:
    • Youth
    • Adult dialogue and seminars
    • Culture
    • Environment
    • School exchange and educational programs
How Much to Apply For?

When preparing your project budget, you should:

  1. Be realistic in the size of fund you request
  2. Reflect the actual costs of the project
Your grant request should not exceed US $ 20,000.
